Post-doc AnnouncementPostdoctoral Position 2026 theoretical cosmology
The LAPTh (CNRS/USMB) invites expressions of interest for a postdoctoral researcher position in theoretical cosmology. The position is dedicated to developing a robust and efficient framework that incorporates a broad range of neutrino and dark-matter models, assessing their effects on large-scale-structure (LSS) statistics as measured by the power spectrum and bispectrum of galaxies or intensity maps. The project emphasizes spectroscopic galaxy surveys—in particular the analysis of data from the ESA Euclid mission—and 21-cm intensity mapping, especially from the SKA Observatory (SKAO). Our goal is to generalize existing analytic methods—particularly the Effective Field Theory of Large-Scale Structure (EFTofLSS)—to include the effects of massive neutrinos and non-standard dark matter, validate theoretical predictions against simulated datasets, forecast expected constraints from Euclid and SKAO, and ultimately analyze the Euclid spectroscopic galaxy sample in its second data release. Postdoctoral positions 2026 String Cosmology
We invite applications for two postdoctoral positions in string cosmology (broadly defined) in France: one at IP2I (CNRS, UCBL), Lyon, with Dimitrios Tsimpis, and one at LAPTh (CNRS, USMB), Annecy, with David Andriot. The positions are funded thanks to the ANR Grant DarES. All information can be found following this link The application deadline on Dec 14, 2025 *Dark energy equation of state in terms of redshift.
