Strings 2024 Conference at CERN

The Strings 2024 conference took place at CERN on June 03rd-07th 2024. This yearly meeting of the string theory international community gathered 400 on-site participants and more than 300 online. A CERN Courier article summarizes the motivations, program and content of the conference. David Andriot and Piotr Tourkine, two LAPTh researchers, active in these topics, have co-organised the event with their Swiss colleagues.

The LAPTh has also contributed to the funding of the conference. Finally, several other LAPTh members have participated to the conference, some presenting their works on posters.
