2012 Proposals for M2/Theses&M1

Research topics for a PhDM2 degree that can lead to doctoral theses as well as  M1 (Master 1) internships are listed here.

PhD Grants: Although one can enrol in a PhD degree in one of the topics listed below without going through the accompanying M2 internship, the M2 internship brings many benefits and is recommended.

  • As concerns PhD grants, 2 sources are available for 2012.One is the French Ministry of Higher  Education grant, an application is to be made to the Grenoble Doctoral School followed by an interview that takes place in the first week of July. Après étude du dossier les candidats auront un entretien qui aura lieu dans la première semaine de Juillet. The deadline for the application is 31 May 2012.  Please fill in the on-line application and send a version copy to the doctoral school as well. To download the documents go here.
  • The second possibility is a grant from the ENIGMASS Laboratory of Excellence,  of which LAPTh is a member. See here for details on how to apply. Deadline is 10th May 2012. 

 

M1, M2 internships: Usually LAPTh financially covers the internship.

Training in the computer department at the level of Bac+2/+3 is also possible.
