Associated International Laboratory between France and Russia

drapeau-france-russie The Franco-Russian LIA, Laboratoire International Associé, Tools for Colliders and Astroparticle Physics has been set up. The coordinator is Geneviève Bélanger from LAPTh. The collaborations cover the development of codes and automatic tools for the calculation of observables within the Standard Model as well as for Models of New Physics.

Björn Herrmann joins LAPTh

bjoern Björn Herrmann is our new junior faculty LAPTh/Université de Savoie. Björn came from DESY, Hamburg. His work is on Beyond the Standard Model phenomenology.

Raymond Stora Fest

stora Raymond is 80! We celebrated his birthday a bit late on July 8th 2011. The small conference and the garden party were just fantastic. Happy birthday to our friend and mentor. Some pictures taken during the garden party can be seen here (courtesy Suzy Vascotto).

Diego Guadagnoli joins LAPTh

Diego Diego Guadagnoli is the new CNRS recruit at LAPTh. He will formally join on February 1st 2012 after a Marie-Curie Fellowship at LPTOrsay.
