The goal is to derive a global likelihood for dimension-6 QQLL 4-fermion operators in the SMEFT using publicly available Run-1 and Run-2 LHC data on Drell-Yan l+l- and l \nu differential cross-sections, where l = e,\mu,\tau. The number of final states we will analyze depends on the available workforce, time, computing power - the project can be easily scaled down or extended.

Data to use

* ATLAS run-1 measurements of double differential e+e- and mu+mu- cross-section, https://arxiv.org/abs/1606.01736 https://hepdata.net/record/ins1467454

* ATLAS run-2 e+e- and mu+mu- measurements of differential e+e- and mu+mu- cross-section, http://arxiv.org/abs/arXiv:1707.02424 https://hepdata.net/record/ins1609250

* ATLAS run 2 e nu and mu nu mT distributions, https://arxiv.org/abs/1706.04786 https://hepdata.net/record/ins1605396

* ATLAS run-2 tau+tau- mTot distribution, http://arxiv.org/abs/1709.07242 https://hepdata.net/record/ins1624690

* ATLAS run-2 tau nu mT distribution, http://arxiv.org/abs/arXiv:1801.06992 https://hepdata.net/record/ins1649273

* (… more data here …)

In some of these case, unfolded cross sections are given, so we only need to calculate these cross sections in the SMEFT. In other case, (all MET and tau tau channels so far) only binned event distributions are given thus Delphes level simulations will be necessary.
