Information about Covid 19

We are optimistic that the conference will still be held. Nevertheless, few points have been modified, due to the crisis: However, depending on the general situation, the conference may still be cancelled at the last minute, so that we suggest you to take a cancellation insurance (for accommodation and travel).
We recommend that you look at the French Foreign Office (Ministère des Affaires Etrangères) for official informations on the entrance in France, see here for more information.

The conference will be held at LAPTh, Annecy. A map can be found here.

Swimming in the lake:
Note that there are beaches along Annecy's lake and that the temperature of the lake in summer in roughly 22-25°C.
Thus, there are good chances that you will be able to swim in September (provided you don't forget your swimsuit).
There are two beaches in Annecy, that you can reach from downtown by foot or by bus:
   - Plage des Marquisats (bus no 6 or 15mn walking): the closest one from downtown.
   - Plage d'Albigny (bus no 5 or 30mn walking): the biggest one.

Accommodation / fees

The RAQIS conference does not ask for any fees and the participants are asked to book their accommodation by themselves.
Lunches will be covered by the conference.
We wish to stress that Annecy is a touristic city, so that people should book in advance to get reasonable prices.
